Washington DMV Website - Redesign
Desktop & Mobile App Design
Tools Used: Figma, Illustrator

The Project
A redesign of the Washington DMV website.
Heuristic Evaluation of Website
The Problem: Current website (from 2021) lacked proper hierarchy and navigation that leaves the user off-course of the user path and disorientated.
The Solution: Concentrated on simplifying the amount of information on the screen and reorganizing the path to obtaining a driver’s license.
Process
Key findings from heuristic evaluation included multiple colors of confusing navigation sections, the need for better spacing for text, and that there were two different paths for a driver’s license but on separate pages.
UI Style Guide
Created UI Style Guide for new elements and images to be applied.
